Ready to go live? With this checklist, you know exactly what you, as a customer, still need to arrange for a successful launch.
Your website is ready! But before we press the big Live button together, there are still a few important points to check. Think of it as a final check to send your own “visual fireworks show” into the world.
If you are well prepared, you will avoid surprises, which is why we have put together a practical checklist. With this checklist, we can be sure that your website is off to a strong start technically and in terms of content!
1. Are the SEO settings properly set up?
Think of page titles, meta descriptions and alt texts for images. These ensure that search engines understand your website well and that visitors can find you quickly.
2. Is there a migration?
When switching from an old website to a new website, it is important to properly set up redirects (links that refer to a certain page 😛). This way, we maintain your existing findability and prevent visitors from ending up on an error page.
3. Are all photos placed in the right places?
Images reinforce your story. Make sure they are on the right pages and match the message you want to convey.
4. Are the images optimized for web use?
Large files make your site slow. By reducing photos without losing quality, we ensure a fast loading time and a pleasant user experience.
5. Are all texts complete and in all required languages?
If your website is multilingual, the translations must be complete and entered. Nothing is as messy as empty fields or text in the wrong language.
6. Has a Webflow account been created?
If you want to be able to make changes yourself in the future, you need a Webflow account. Make sure it's active and that you have access to your project.
7. Are all the CMS items that need to go live actually live?
Whether it's blog posts, team members, testimonials, or products, make sure everything that needs to be visible has also been published.
Everything checked off? Then your website is ready to go live.
