Webflow vs Framer

Webflow vs. Framer: Learn why we always choose Webflow — and how that makes for powerful, scalable and user-friendly websites.

Why we always choose Webflow (and leave Framer alone)

At Studio Flabbergasted, we love beautiful things. But also making smart choices. And when it comes to building websites, we undoubtedly choose Webflow. Over and over again. “But Framer also looks sleek, why don't you choose that?” Sure. But there are a few very good reasons why we have committed ourselves to Webflow. Is it coming:

1. With one platform, everything arranged

Webflow offers everything we need: design, development, CMS, hosting and SEO options, all under one roof. No hassle with combining tools or coming up with workarounds. Everything works. Point.

2. Powerful CMS for dynamic content

Whether it's a blog, a case portfolio or a team overview: Webflow's CMS is super flexible and user-friendly for our customers. At Framer, those content options feel a bit more limited. And let content be the heart of every good website.

3. SEO is not an afterthought

Webflow gives us complete control over all technical SEO aspects. Think meta titles, descriptions, alt texts, URL structures, and even redirects. Framer is doing his best, but is simply not getting close to this yet.

4. Structure and scalability

Our clients are often growing companies: law firms, coaches or cultural institutions. Not only do they need a good site now, but they also want to expand easily later. Webflow offers that scalability. Framer? Fewer.

5. User friendly for you (yes, you there!)

A website should not only be beautiful, but also easy to use. Webflow offers an intuitive editor for customers. So you can adjust photos, change texts or post news reports yourself, without panic or technical knowledge.

Framer? Great for concepts, but...

Don't get us wrong. Framer is great for fast, visual one-pagers or interactive portfolios, but in practice, we find that it's just not robust enough for the versatile and sustainable websites we build.

So: why Webflow? Because it works. Always.

And that is exactly what we want to offer: a great design, a solid basis and a site that you can use yourself. Without fuss, with impact.
